In traditional Japanese poetry, haikus are formed of 17 syllables across three lines. My own short poems are 17 syllables, but over six lines – so not quite haikus.
Haikus of an autumn
Equinox shadows
October rain
November voices
Solstice night
Haikus of my father’s death
The last days
The days that followed
Black and white
